Luke : Hey Jeremy - I googled it and found this (For light beers, substitute chicken broth, ginger ale or white grape juice. For heavier beers, use a stronger beef, chicken or mushroom broth or stock. Non-alcoholic beers may also be substituted.) Maybe that will help :)

Cat : Hey J&K - You guys don't even cook with it? We aren't big beer drinkers either but we have it on hand (in the pantry, no less) just to make the bread we mentioned and now, this marinade.
