Floral Inspiration :: Purples

For the next few weeks, we'll be featuring some floral inspiration and trends that we've noticed over the past weddings that we have photographed.

We're starting off with purple. Some of our prettiest bouquets from last year were the purple ones!

Happy 1-Year Anniversary :: Taryn and John!

Another 1-year-anniversary to celebrate! I can't believe it's been a year since this shindig!

Taryn and John - along with your families, what an honor it was to meet and get to know you guys!

Here's 3 things we remember from your big day!

1. Your awesomely fun wedding party!
The groomsmen were game for this shot, which ended up being one of our all time favorite groomsmen shots! Epic!

2. Taryn and Robin's incredible mother-daughter relationship.
Who wouldn't want your best friend walking you down the aisle! Taryn's mom Robin treated US like family too. I love these two beautiful ladies. And I want Robin's eyebrows. But that's another story. :)

3. This moment at the end of the night.
The story behind this photo is that the guests were all lining up with sparklers and I ran back to the reception to tell Taryn and John that it was time to make their grand exit. The DJ was playing some slow music and these two were having a 'moment.

Taryn and John, here's to year numero dos. :)

Happy 1-Year Anniversary :: Lacey and Edwin!

Happy Anniversary to another one of our amazing 2012 couples... Lacey and Edwin!

We hope you two have had an incredible first year of marriage!

When we were looking back through your wedding day photos, here's some favorite moments that stuck out for us!

1) Lacey... you looked incredible! I remember after we took your getting-ready portraits in the bridal suite at Agave Road, Luke and I stepped outside and excitedly looked through the pictures. You made our job so easy!

2) How happy you two were together. Once you were "husband and wife" neither of you could stop grinning.

3) Your incredible exit... with a Rolls Royce! Way to go you guys!

Congratulations on your anniversary and good luck with year number 2! I can't wait to see where your adventures take you both! XOXO
