Hi there! We're Luke and Cat, and we're so happy you're here. We hope you'll stay a while! We’re a husband and wife wedding photographer team based in Houston, Texas. Ranchers-turned-photographers, our world looks like this: a Craftsman-style farmhouse; our newborn, Knox, in our arms; coffee in the kitchen; Edison lights on the back porch; and a pair of English bulldogs at the foot of our bed. Romanticism Revisited: Life & Craft Workshop

Once again we partnered with Two Be Wed for the editorial for our Life & Craft Workshop. "Romanticism Revisited" celebrates simplicity and unpretentious beauty. It embraces the natural elements and has a slight pastoral mood. The delicate fabrics highlight the breeze, the florals capture the rugged side of the land, and the overall mood of the shoot harkens back to the distinct moody romanticism of its namesake. Soft neutrals allow the rich and varied textures to be the star of the show rather than the color palette, making it the perfect inspiration for any wedding season.

We're gearing up for our next Life & Craft Workshop at the ranch in late fall 2017. Sign up here to join our workshop wait list and have the first chance at one of our limited seats.

Love & Collaboration, (Thanks to this incredible Houston creative team!)

Life & Craft Workshop: An Italian Inspired Fall Feast

With the welcome dinner for our fall workshop,  we hoped to create a warm and cozy setting that highlights the first of the fall chill in the air. The menu and decor elements gave a nod to the Italian countryside, while the overall feel of the shoot had a distinctly rustic European feel. Casual elegance invited "guests" to sit down and make themselves at home while the sun set and the first evening stars made their appearance, earthy tones in a fall palette captured the mood of the season, and florals appeared to have been freshly picked in the Italian countryside.

Life & Craft,

Luke & Cat

A Study in Lines Editorial

Inspired by fine art and the beautiful lines created in the paintings by the Dutch Masters, this shoot is all about creating an underlying simplicity that highlights movement through lines. Guests were served a four course meal on the front porch of our 100 year old farmhouse. Sophisticated yet adventurous farm to table food was served as the guests toasted their futures at a table full of tones of blue, mustard, and blush. Each left with a favor of artisan crafted organic lavender bath salts for an evening of relaxing prior to a busy 3 days of learning and community at our Life and Craft Workshop.

Learning & Community,

Luke & Cat
