A few months ago we were contacted by a fabulous couple from Amarillo, Bri and Chris, who were coming all the way down to Matagorda Beach to renew their vows they took 6 years ago. First, we were so excited to do a vow renewal, and on the beach, no less. Another thing that made us smile is that Bri herself is a photographer too!

We were truly touched by their love story. You see, 6 years ago, Bri and Chris were madly in love and making plans for a big wedding celebration to tie the knot. The wedding gown was selected, the venue was booked, and details were chosen. But then, as they say, life happened. Among job changes, a new home purchase, and relocating, Bri and Chris chose, 6 years ago, to forgo the big wedding they had planned and just get get married on their own. No big party. No wedding dress.

Bri shipped her {never-worn} dress off to be preserved, thinking ahead that maybe someday, she and Chris would one day re-affirm their vows and she would, in fact, have her fairy-tale day.

So, six years later, on a quiet Texas beach in the evening sun, Bri and Chris, surrounded by their closest friends and family, stood barefoot with the sand between their toes and said, "I do," all over again.
