Shelby and Clayton

This new engagement session features one of our adorable couples, Shelby and Clayton. Shelby inquired with us a while back for their Big Sky Barn wedding, and we clicked ever since. Of course, after battling the summer of never-ending rain, we finally found a day with perfect weather, and it turned out to be a magical evening filled with amazing golden hour light. We can't wait to have these two in front of our cameras again this winter.

Megan and Matthew

We all know the weather here in the Houston, Texas area has been less than ideal this past month. Every week the forecast calls for rain on top of rain on top of rain. We finally got a break and were able to make Megan and Matt's engagement session happen, but that didn't come without some obstacles. Two words: mud and mosquitoes! The ranch was unusually wet and muddy, and that means an army of mosquitoes were out and about. Megan and Matt took it like total champs, and we are thrilled with their engagement portraits. Sometimes obstacles come up, and we as professionals are forced to make the best of the situation. Some of our favorite portraits ever are in this gallery, and we couldn't be happier to be photographing their Hotel Ella wedding next spring!

Katriana and Caden flew from Montana to Texas for their engagement session, and it was truly magical! We know we're always in for a treat when people fly across the country to come out to the ranch for their photos. Thank you Katriana and Caden for choosing us to photograph such a beautiful season in y'all's lives. It was a delightful day, no doubt!
