In all the hustle and bustle of yesterday (and by hustle and bustle, I mean I have a massive head cold and spent most of the day napping with Wilma while calling random pharmacy's asking if they have Sudafed in stock) I forgot to share some good news!
Meg and Kevin's wedding from Olde Dobbin Station was featured yesterday over on the highly acclaimed wedding blog Glamour and Grace. I've been following this blog for a while and I was so excited that we had a great wedding that ended up on their blog.

I love the commentary on the post straight from our friend and bride Meg. There were so many thoughtful details and plenty of meaningful reasons for every decision they made about their wedding.
So be sure to head over and check out the blog post on Glamour and Grace. You can also see more photos and read their story from our perspective on their original blog post.
Thank you to Megan from Glamour and Grace for featuring our work, and congratulations to this special couple on the feature!

I'd venture a guess this isn't the type of magazine you're expecting to see one of our photos featured in!
The other day I got an e-mail asking for our permission to use one of our photos we'd taken during Emily and Justin's engagement session on the cover of a magazine.
That magazine happens to be a cattle breed specific magazine. These two Shorthorn heifers were 'still life' (or not-still life) that we photographed during our shoot this fall. We always take photos of the stuff around us during a shoot - sometimes it's a tree, or a fence post, or an ivy growing up a wall. And now this picture has ended up on the cover of the national publication. What a deal!

Side note that makes this even more exciting is that this is the breed of cattle that I used to show! I've actually been an avid reader and subscriber to this magazine for at least 20 years. Looks like this is one issue I'll be holding on to for a long time!

appy post-Christmas haze to ya! By post-Christmas haze, I mean that weird "I ate too much and I never want to wear anything but elastic waist pants again" feeling that I have right now. BUT! I am happy to come out of my haze to share that today the adorable Southern wedding blog, The Lovely Find, has published one of our weddings!
Laura and John's Agave Real wedding was selected and featured today!
Congratulations to this couple on this exciting news, and thank you to The Lovely Find for featuring our work!
We'd love it if you'd head over to check out the feature!
***now back to the couch for me!*** :)
