What’s the shot every bride wants but won’t ask for? One where she’s the star, of course! Today’s Weekend Snapshot features an easy way to set up a sweet photo that your brides will love.

While standing to one side of the brides, ask all of the bridesmaids to look at the bride while the bride looks right at the camera, like this. It’s a fun shot that elicits genuine smiles from everyone, creating a photo that’s sure to be a bride’s favorite.

It’s always a good idea to think about where you’d like the toasts to take place and where you’d like everyone to stand. The truth is, your clients and guests probably haven’t even considered where toasts will be taking place, and will be grateful for the advice. Additionally - you can use this time to instruct everyone on how to hold their champagne flutes for the perfect photo. Your bride and groom typically look best with one arm around each other and their other arms raised, with their glasses in hand.

Roses and rosy cheeks! Faces and flowers! It’s hard to go wrong with a photo that features gorgeous bouquets, a beautiful bride, and bridesmaids. Today’s Weekend Snapshot is all about how to get a great flower-power shot.

Utilize clever angles to make the most of dimensional bouquets. When taking photos from the side, focus on the bouquets and compose the image to show just part of the girls’ happy faces. Ask the bridesmaids to all hold their bouquets at belly-button level and capture a line of gorgeous flowers. Florists love these images too, and will often feature them prominently in their social media.
