Our Television Debut!
Nov 28, 2012 / Our Life
You might have seen our Facebook and Instagram posts a few months ago about being filmed for a commercial for Ring Wraps. If you will remember, this summer Luke gave me an Aggie Ring Wrap as part of my birthday surprise.
Emily Huskinson, the owner and founder of the company that makes the original Ring Wraps saw the blog post and asked us to be a part of a commercial telling our story. We were plenty nervous, but we wouldn't dare let down such a sweet person like Emily, so off we went to College Station. The commercial was filmed in a private residence in College Station and the film crew had all the bells and whistles: multiple lights, several cameras, PR agents, even a makeup crew. Well... the last part's a stretch. It was more of the Twinz (PR queens) telling ME that I needed to help LUKE not be so shiny. Somehow my dreams of being a makeup artist didn't quite include working on my own husband. But I answered the call and powdered him up! Ha!
If you live in the Aggieland area, you might have seen the commercial, as it runs on the local TV stations there. Thank you Emily, for inviting us to celebrate your success and share our Ring Wraps story! Aside from that, we'd also like to thank you for inspiring us to continue to step outside of our comfort zone! :)
